Gentle rain accompanies, as so often here, my way through the vibrant streets of Edinburgh. Surprisingly, I don’t mind at all. Somehow rain belongs to Scotland just like fish belongs to chips.
Certainly not everyone likes the Scottish weather. But nonetheless, Edinburgh is a city that everyone should have visited at least once in their life. Anyone who has ever been to Edinburgh knows why J.K. Rowling started writing Harry Potter here. There is a certain kind of magic in this place. When I stand on top of Calton Hill and look down on the city, I see a city that has preserved its history, tradition and beauty for centuries like almost no other.
